- Brussels hosts the Council of Ministers, the Commission, part of the European Parliament and the NATO.
Die belgische Hauptstadt hat ca. 1 Million hauptsächlich französisch sprechende Einwohner.
In Brüssel befinden sich zahlreiche europäische Institutionen: Der
Ministerrats der EU, der
Europäischen Kommission, ein Teil des
Europäischen Parlaments, der
Wirtschafts- und Sozialausschuss sowie der
Ausschuss der Regionen.
Auch die
NATO hat ihren europäischen Hauptsitz in Brüssel.
